The Kumon Math and Reading Center is located within a commercial tenant space at the historic Lithuanian Hall in Southwest Detroit. The facility was designed to be open and light-filled by the use of high ceilings with suspended lighting and large expanses of street-level storefront glass. Sections of interior brick were left exposed to offer a sense of the urban, historically renovated structure and the energetic corporate color scheme of vibrant orange, pale yellow, and blue are used throughout.
