The Lady Bug Gallery and Studio is a satellite branch of the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit (CAID) located in the lower level of the historic Whitdel apartment building in southwest Detroit. The new gallery provides exhibition space, a ceramics studio, a computer lab and a multi-purpose classroom that together foster an inviting and creative environment for local area artists. Contributing to the bright and airy space, are the minimalist gloss-white walls and ceilings and exposed concrete floors which help to focus attention towards the revolving exhibitions produced by CAID.
